UA provides services in many locations in Victoria and Tasmania.

About the position
An exciting opportunity exists for a Chaplain for our new residential community in Preston opening in November 2019. Reporting to the Residential Services Manager the Chaplain is responsible for providing chaplaincy including   worship, spiritual and pastoral care to our residents and clients in the state-of-the-art, 104-place residential care community. With experience in chaplaincy and the provision of pastoral care, the Chaplain will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an interest in enhancing the experience of ageing and the capacity to work with a diverse range of people.

Formal theological qualifications and Clinical Pastoral Education preferred, and a commitment to work within and promote the ethos and values of the Uniting Church is essential.
This position is subject to satisfactory Police and Working With Children Check.

Essential: Please describe your experience in documenting spiritual and pastoral needs and interventions using IT.
Essential: Please describe your experience working in residential aged care.
Essential: Please tell us of your experience in leading worship.
Essential: Please tell us of your experience relating to a diverse range of people
Essential: Please tell us of your training and experience in Pastoral Care or Clinical Pastoral Education.
