About the position
An exciting opportunity exists for a Chaplain for our new residential community in Preston opening in November 2019. Reporting to the Residential Services Manager the Chaplain is responsible for providing chaplaincy including worship, spiritual and pastoral care to our residents and clients in the state-of-the-art, 104-place residential care community. With experience in chaplaincy and the provision of pastoral care, the Chaplain will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, an interest in enhancing the experience of ageing and the capacity to work with a diverse range of people.
Formal theological qualifications and Clinical Pastoral Education preferred, and a commitment to work within and promote the ethos and values of the Uniting Church is essential.
This position is subject to satisfactory Police and Working With Children Check.
